SHE has had to navigate the rocky waters of love after a string of highly publicised romances that led to heartbreak.
However, Kelly Brook is now at her happiest after finding true love with her Italian husband, Jeremy Parisi.
It all began when Kelly, 44, came across his Instagram videos and decided to give him a follow on the social media network.
In 2018, she predicted that her next engagement would end in marriage after describing her previous ones as unmemorable.
Now, she and her 39-year-old husband will be showing off their competitive side tonight on Celebrity Race Across the World on BBC One.
Speaking about the experience, Kelly told Closer Magazine: «We hadn’t had a honeymoon and I said to Jeremy we should consider this as a fun alternative, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
«At times, it was the honeymoon from hell – at other times, it was absolutely glorious. It’s got to be the most memorable honeymoon ever.»
While you’ll often find the model gushing about her man, her love life has not always been plain sailing.
Since finding fame as a model at the age of 18, Kelly has suffered four high-profile failed engagements before ending up with Jeremy.
From a five-year romance with one of Hollywood’s biggest action movie stars to a proposal after just eleven weeks of dating and devastating miscarriages, Kelly has seen it all when it comes to heartaches.
Here, we look at how the TV personality overcame a complicated love life to finally land the man of her dreams.
Romance woes
At 18, Kelly met Hollywood hardman Jason Stratham, who was 12 years older than her. Jason’s career at the time was a far cry from what it is now.
According to her, when they were together, he was «skint». He was also an up-and-coming actor who had not yet landed roles like Fast & Furious.
But as his Hollywood career started taking off, the pair drifted apart despite their engagement.
Recalling their time together in an interview, Kelly said: «Jason’s career was also blossoming and it was difficult for us to see as much of each other as we would have liked.
«Like so many other couples it soon became clear that our relationship was faltering at the hands of the Hollywood lifestyle… So after seven years together we decided to call it a day.»
Jason is now engaged to supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and shares two children with her.
After the couple split in 2003, Kelly met Titanic actor Billy Zane, 58, on the set of Survival Island in 2005.
The couple dated for four years, got engaged, and even moved to a £1million farmhouse in Kent. But it all came crashing down when the relationship ended suddenly.
At the time, a source told The Sun: «After much soul-searching, Kelly decided that Billy is not the man she wants to marry and has called off the engagement.»
It was said that Kelly did not believe that Billy was the right man for her.
Cheating scandal
Not long after the break up, Kelly entered into a relationship with rugby star Danny Cipriani, 36.
Their romance was marred with allegations that he had cheated on her. In fact, it was claimed that he had been unfaithful with up to seven women.
When Kelly found sexy pictures on his phone from one woman, she allegedly texted her saying: «Take it you’re another one he’s f*****g?»
But when Danny gave a stripper in Las Vegas his phone number, Kelly had had enough. While using the toilets, she is said to have overheard the dancer bragging about getting the sportsman’s number.
Kelly reportedly punched Danny in the face following the incident and gave him his marching orders.
He has since revealed that he suffered from depression after their split. In a chat with The Sun, he said: «It wasn’t a great time and I had to see somebody to get help.»
Devastating miscarriages
When Kelly began dating scandal-free Thom Evans, 39, another rugby star, fans believed she had finally found her perfect match.
But the pair tragically suffered a miscarriage in May 2011. Shortly afterwards, they decided to get engaged, making it Kelly’s third.
Later that same year, Kelly got pregnant again but miscarried for a second time in December.
Speaking to The Sun about the engagement and miscarriages, she said: «After the miscarriage Thom and I decided it was time to make a fresh start… Thom proposed.
«He’d bought a beautiful ring. I immediately said yes. The miscarriage actually brought us closer together. Later I went to see my doctor, who said, ‘The best way to get over this is to try and get pregnant again’.
«So Thom and I weren’t careful, and just before Christmas 2011, I got pregnant again. The look on Thom’s face said it all. I think he was terrified… I had another miscarriage after a few weeks.»
Their relationship fell apart the next year when Thom decided he wanted to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Thom is now engaged to Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.
In the wake of the split, Kelly briefly reignited her relationship with Danny but dumped him for a second time when she discovered he had been sending dirty texts to another woman.
Whirlwind Tornado romance
In 2014, Kelly met hunky Gladiator star David Mcintosh, 38, also known as Tornado on the show.
The pair began dating after he popped into her central London bar, Steam and Rye. It only took 12 weeks for David to propose to Kelly, making it her fourth.
But soon after, rumours began to surface that he was cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Harper.
Kelly also later admitted she was convinced David was only with her for her fame and not for genuine love. They ended up splitting after nine months together.
Unlike her other relationships, this break up sparked a war of words between Kelly and her ex. He branded her a «nasty, bitter woman».
She also called Jess Impiazzi and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, who he hooked up with after her a “sl*t” and a “skank”, adding: «As long as she is buying you s**t and you have a place to stay, all can be overlooked.»
Later, cocky David claimed that it wasn’t his fault women were all over him. He said: «The girls gravitate to me. I can’t help it, I was born like this.
«I get a lot of women throwing themselves at me. They are a sucker for abs and a good jawline.»
Love at last
After four failed engagements, two miscarriages, and serial love cheats, Kelly finally found the man of her dreams in Jeremy Parisi.
He has said he was shocked when she contacted him after seeing one of his videos on Instagram in 2014.
In an interview, he explained: «My account was private, but I clicked on her profile to see – and could not believe when it said she was famous.
«I hadn’t heard of her, but I went to Wiki and – my God! I said to my friend, ‘Why would she want to follow me?’ and he said, ‘Women like that want nice men too.»
Kelly has also explained how he was certain he was being fooled. She explained: «At first he thought it was a wind-up. He thought I was catfishing him!»
Since Jeremy, an actor with a degree in political science, did not speak a word of English when they first met, they were forced to communicate with each other via Google Translate.
They went public with their romance in 2015 and have since led a much quieter life away from the public glare. He even turned down her marriage proposal in Antigua as it was not «private enough».
After seven years of dating, the pair finally got engaged. Like she predicted in 2018, it did lead to marriage this time. They tied the knot in a lavish Italian wedding.
Speaking about their big day, she said: «We had an incredible wedding and we were watching our wedding video the other day. I wish we could do it all again. Our wedding was small and Italian-based.
«I didn’t put any pressure on people to come from overseas other than immediate family and I did promise everyone we would have a big party in London. I haven’t got around to that yet, so that needs to happen.»
Earlier this year, Kelly hinted at ditching the UK to start a new life with Jeremy in Italy. She said: «Jeremy and I, now we are married, we have definitely simplified our lives.»
«He’s got a little farm house in Italy that is in need of renovation. It’s an olive oil farm so we will be getting involved and pressing olives and learning how to cook pizza, I’m learning Italian.»
After a decade together, they are still going strong. Kelly said they still enjoy candle-lit dinners «almost every night» and spending time together.
Speaking to Hello!, Kelly, a presenter on Heart FM, explained how marriage has kept her grounded. She said, «Married life is really good.
«This is the most traditional I’ve been in my whole life, to have a proper job, a dog and a husband. I’m like ‘who am I?’ I used to be running around town and now I’m all settled, it’s mad, but it’s amazing.»
Psychologist Emma Kenny, who has followed the couple through the years, previously told The Sun why she thinks he’s the right one for her.
«Kelly has spent all of her adult life in the limelight and the relationships that she has courted have also tended to be either big names themselves, or those interested in sharing the spotlight», she said.
«On one level this makes sense, as you want a partner who feels comfortable with your fame, but it can also cause a struggle where ego is concerned, or mean that they have other ulterior motives for being with you.
«Kelly’s relationship with Jeremy is different because he doesn’t court the limelight.
«In fact, he is very private and doesn’t seek to be known in the public arena at all. For Kelly this will be reassuring, he clearly loves her as a person as opposed to her pin-up status.»
Tonight, the couple will give fans a whole new glimpse into their lives when they appear on Celebrity Race Across the World on BBC One.
Kelly talks about how the show brought out a side in Jeremy that she had never seen before.
«I didn’t realise how competitive he was, like, crazy competitive. I’m much more about the experience», she said.
«I think I got on his nerves because he was full steam ahead. If Jeremy was doing the race alone, he’d have finished it in a week. I was kind of slowing him down a little bit and I was like, let’s have a Brazilian barbecue one day or let’s go to the beach.»
